It was a love story with action backdrop. We went to Mahabaleswar and completed 80% of the script work. Gopi Mohan narrated a story line and the script work started in the month of May 2010. I introduced them to Mahesh Babu and he gave a go-ahead. I was doing Namo venkatesa in 14 Reels banner and I felt extremely comfortable with the producers (Ram, Gopichand and Anil). Manjula approached me for this project and she gave an advance. This proposal came during the period of Namo Venkatesa shoot. MAA President Murali Mohan, Sreenu Vytla, Maharshi, Sekhar Sunkara(CEO,MAASTARS.COM, Manki and Jayasree and few others attended the program. MAA has organised a press meet at AP Film Chamber of Commerce yesterday to to announce the charity auction of these dresses costumes. We had seen ‘Magadheera’ sword and shield, ‘Simha’ axe, ‘Brindavanam’ Crown and Flute etc. The proceeds from their sale will be used for the welfare of poor artists.
Now, the costumes used by Prince Mahesh and Samantha for ‘Dookudu’ are put for auction.
As known, MAA has been conducting auction programmes on actors’ costumes and articles that are used in films. It is still running with packed houses.įollowing the massive success of the film, Movie Artists Association (MAA) is association with Dookudu makers has come forward for charity work. The film also set a couple of new records in the 80-year of Telugu Cinema. Prince Mahesh’s latest comedy action entertainer ‘Dookudu’ had registered a huge hit.
